MK/89 Chest Armor
NOW MOLDING! FIRST PIECES SHIPPING IN APRIL!
Hero upper “chest” armor (full-wraparound) inspired by the art of a well known genre-establishing superhero film from 1989. Produced in Urethane, soft and comfortable yet will hold its shape very well when worn/adhered to an undersuit. This sculpt was left slightly “rough” to imitate the scuffs, toolmarks and tiny flaws seen in the REAL 1989 screen suit. It was a labor of love and dedication to the costume that changed everything!
Includes forearm-wrap armor elbows. Optional Spine cover, see below!
This is a big, heavy piece (using a quite a bit of rubber to produce) and is designed to hold its shape when worn, never "see-through" thin spots or creases when shipped like some other makers. I always cure my rubber pieces longer in-mold to ensure firmness, crisp details and help prevent warping.
This is L/XL - “Muscle size” - Designed for 44-48” chest, height 5’10”-6’2”
